While I was putting in place the nail manufacturing proccesses and equipment, the option was available to add a moduler unit to our finishing machine which would allow us to die cut printed carton stock. While not part of our initial purchase, as time went on, it made more sense to rethink adding this capability. Because the press could print variable data or low volumn customized prints, that gave us the ability to finish or convert those jobs by adding the die cut unit. While we considered the idea several times, I developed several items that were representitive of the type of things we would be able to do with the die cut capability. Along the lines of the Gifter Envelope I designed and delevoped, these items would ideally be marketing materials that would not need any folding, gluing or converting prior to a consultant needing to use them. As you view each of the items, keep in mind the possibality of these items having designs that are seasonal, geared towared product launches, holidays, events, marketing campaigns and so on.
Even leaving out the component of variable data printing, well branded boxes to take product in would be a great addition to marketing materials. In the end, the only option that was adopted was the take home bag I designed and developed.
