Scale military models

I have always been curious and fascinated by how things are made, the materials used and how pieces are designed and fit together.  In my early teens a cousin introduced me to scale modeling and I was hooked. Through my teenage years I built up a collection of over 30 models of both aircraft and armor, that collection was destroyed in the 1994 Northridge earthquake. This is a sampling of models completed since 1997.  Scale models are used in many fields including engineering, architecture, filmmaking, and salesmanship. In addition to being another creative outlet, the skills have served me well in my career, as I have had to hand build many product mock-ups and prototypes. Due to the accessibility of 3D printers, the making of hand made product prototypes is becoming a lost art, but technology marches on.
